Lay on the Table

A motion to lay on the table is debatable, is not subject to amendment and carries with it the main question and all other pending questions which adhere to it, except when an appeal is laid on the table. The passage of a motion to lay an amendment on the table shall cause the subject bill or resolution and all other amendments to be laid on the table.
